RV stays in Virginia
Shenandoah ridges, Chesapeake tidewater, and one of the deepest layered histories in the country.

Virginia covers a lot — Blue Ridge in the west, Piedmont horse country in the middle, Tidewater out to the Chesapeake. The Skyline Drive through Shenandoah and the Blue Ridge Parkway south of it are bookends of one of the best mountain drives in the East.
CurbNTurf hosts cluster around Charlottesville, the Shenandoah Valley, and a few near the coast. Spring (April–May) and fall (October–early November) are the comfort seasons.

Drive Skyline Drive (US Route designation through Shenandoah National Park) — 105 miles ridge-top with overlooks every mile or two. Plan an overnight at Skyland or Big Meadows in fall.
Charlottesville wine: Barboursville, King Family, Pippin Hill, RdV. Pair with a Monticello visit and lunch in town. Reservations for tastings are now standard.
Foliage peaks the second to third week of October in the high country. The Eastern Shore is best in spring before the crowds and the bugs. Hurricane season hits the coast August–October.
